For my AS Media Studies, i am assigned to produce two print artefacts from a set brief, this includes involving my planning work for a pre-production, preliminary exercise to a more fully realised piece. Every part of my planning work and analysing: if it's either my piece or other pieces of work will be presented on here, I will present my thoughts and ideas on how i could improve my work.
The purpose of this unit is to ultimatley access my ability:
-To Plan and construct print products using appropriate technical and creative skills
-To assess my application of knowlage and understanding in evaluting your own work, showing how meaning and responses are created
-To assess my ability to undertake, apply and presend appropriate research.
My Preliminary Exercise: With usage of DTP (desktop publisher) and an image manipulation programme (Photo shop) I have to create a front page of a School/College magazine. There are precise guidelines to what the front page must include:
- A photograph of a student in Medium Close Up
- Some Appropriatley laid out text
- A Masthead
The preliminary exercise deadline is for Friday 9th November 2008
